Infraboost IB5-8 – WiFi Programmable Room Thermostat with Touch Control
Control your heating at home or remotely – from your phone, with a weekly schedule or directly on the thermostat.
Infraboost IB5-8 combines precise temperature regulation, WiFi connectivity, TUYA app control and a modern TOUCH interface. It is designed for users who want greater control, more comfort and the freedom to adapt their heating to their actual daily routine.
Adjust the temperature directly on the thermostat or from your smartphone, even when you are away from home. It is ideal for IR heating panels, electric underfloor heating, convector heaters and other compatible electric heating systems.
Why choose the Infraboost IB5-8?
- Control from your smartphone – with the TUYA app you can check and adjust the temperature even when you are away from home.
- WiFi connectivity – combines traditional room temperature control with modern smart heating management.
- Advanced weekly programming – choose between 5+2 day, 6+1 day or full 7-day schedules.
- Up to 6 temperature periods per day – set different temperatures for morning, daytime, arrival home, evening and night.
- Large LCD display with white backlight – clear and easy-to-read information and settings.
- TOUCH buttons – modern, quiet and intuitive operation without traditional mechanical buttons.
- 16 A relay output – suitable for compatible electric heating systems within the permitted resistive load limits.

Keep your heating under control even when you are away
Left home and forgot to turn the temperature down? Returning from a trip and want the room to be warm before you arrive?
With WiFi connectivity and the TUYA app, you can control the Infraboost IB5-8 from your smartphone. Adjust the temperature according to your plans whether you are at home, at work or on the road.
This is especially practical for holiday homes, weekend houses, apartments, offices and other electrically heated spaces where someone is not always present to change the thermostat manually.
Let the heating adapt to your day
You may want the room comfortably warm in the morning, a lower temperature while you are away, and more warmth again before you return home. Instead of making these changes manually every day, the Infraboost IB5-8 can do it automatically.
The thermostat supports up to 6 temperature periods per day, allowing you to adapt the heating to morning routines, working hours, afternoons, evenings and nights.
Precise scheduling not only improves comfort, but can also help reduce unnecessary heating when the room does not need to be kept at a higher temperature.
Ideal for homes, offices, apartments and holiday properties
- Living rooms and bedrooms – automatically adapt the temperature according to the time of day.
- Bathrooms – schedule the heating before your morning or evening routine.
- Offices – heating can follow working hours and reduce the temperature outside business hours.
- Holiday homes and weekend houses – check or adjust the temperature before you arrive.
- Apartments and occasionally used spaces – WiFi control allows you to manage the heating without being physically present.
- IR heating systems – an excellent solution for precise room-by-room temperature control.
Flush-mounted or surface-mounted installation
Infraboost IB5-8 is designed for permanent wired installation and is normally installed in a suitable standard flush-mounted electrical wall box.
- Flush-mounted installation – ideal for a clean and discreet appearance where a suitable wall box is already available.
- Surface-mounted installation – if you do not want to cut into the wall or no flush-mounted box is available, you can purchase the appropriate surface-mount box from our online store and install the thermostat directly onto the wall.
This makes the IB5-8 suitable for both new installations and renovations, as well as existing rooms where you want to adapt the installation to the current electrical setup.
A modern thermostat that fits naturally into your room
Because a room thermostat remains permanently visible on the wall, appearance matters too. The Infraboost IB5-8 combines a clear LCD display, white backlighting and minimalist TOUCH controls.
- Large LCD display – clear overview of temperature and settings.
- White backlight – easy to read even in low-light conditions.
- TOUCH buttons – elegant and responsive operation.
- 5–35 °C temperature range – suitable for most residential and commercial spaces.
