Infraboost IB5-5 – Programmable Wired Thermostat with Touch Control
Greater comfort, precise temperature control and heating that follows your daily routine.
Infraboost IB5-5 is a modern wired room thermostat designed for anyone who wants simple, clear and efficient control of electric heating. A large white-backlit LCD display, TOUCH controls and advanced weekly programming allow you to adapt the temperature to your lifestyle.
It is suitable for IR heating panels, electric underfloor heating, convector heaters and other compatible electric heating systems. Instead of constantly adjusting the temperature manually, you can decide when you want more warmth and when a lower temperature is sufficient, while the thermostat automatically takes care of the regulation.
Why choose the Infraboost IB5-5?
- Set the heating around your schedule – with 5+2 day, 6+1 day or full 7-day programming, you can adapt the temperature to work, sleep, weekends and the hours when nobody is at home.
- Up to 6 temperature periods per day – enjoy a warm room in the morning, reduce the temperature during the day, increase it again in the evening and set your preferred night temperature.
- Large backlit LCD display – the current and set temperatures are always clearly visible.
- Touch control – a modern design without traditional mechanical buttons, providing simple and quiet operation.
- Precise temperature control – helps prevent overheating and unnecessary operation of the heating system.
- Powerful 16 A relay – suitable for more powerful electric heating systems within the permitted resistive load limits.
- Frost protection – ideal for holiday homes, weekend houses, garages and other spaces where you want to prevent the temperature from dropping too low.
- CR1220 backup battery – preserves the time and settings during a temporary power failure.
- Flush-mounted or surface-mounted installation – the thermostat is designed for standard flush mounting, but with the optional surface-mount box available separately in our online store, it can also be installed directly onto the wall.
Heating that adapts to your day
In the morning you may want a warm bathroom and living area. While you are at work, the temperature can be reduced, and in the afternoon you may want to return to a comfortably heated home. This is exactly what the programming functions of the Infraboost IB5-5 are designed for.
Instead of adjusting the thermostat manually every day, you can define up to 6 temperature periods within each day. The thermostat then automatically follows your programmed schedule.
This gives you greater comfort and better control over your electric heating without constantly thinking about switching the heating on, off or changing the temperature.
Simple operation and flexible installation
Infraboost IB5-5 is designed for permanent wired installation and is an excellent choice when you want to integrate the thermostat neatly into the room.
- Flush-mounted installation – suitable for standard electrical wall boxes and provides a clean, discreet appearance.
- Surface-mounted installation – if flush mounting is not possible or you simply prefer not to modify the wall, you can purchase the appropriate surface-mount box from our online store and install the thermostat directly onto the wall.
- 230 V power supply – designed for direct integration into compatible electric heating systems.
- Wide compatibility – suitable for IR panels, electric underfloor heating and other compatible electric heating systems.
Thanks to the option of either flush-mounted or surface-mounted installation, the Infraboost IB5-5 can be more easily adapted to new installations, renovations and existing rooms where cutting into the wall is not desirable.
Modern design with touch control
A thermostat is not only a functional part of the heating system – it is also permanently visible on the wall. Infraboost IB5-5 therefore combines practical operation with a clean, modern appearance.
- TOUCH buttons – responsive operation without mechanical clicking.
- White display backlight – easy to read even in low-light conditions.
- Clear settings display – quickly check the current and desired temperature.
- Temperature range from 5–35 °C – suitable for most residential, office and utility spaces.
Where is the Infraboost IB5-5 especially useful?
- Living rooms and bedrooms – maintain a comfortable temperature according to the time of day.
- Bathrooms – schedule the heating before your morning or evening routine.
- Offices – adapt the room temperature to working hours.
- Holiday homes and weekend houses – the frost-protection function is especially useful when the property is not occupied every day.
- IR heating systems – precise room-by-room control helps you take full advantage of electric infrared heating.
