EA 13953 RS232 LED Error Display for PLCs – DIN Rail, 4 Characters
A compact RS232 display for clear presentation of error codes and other short messages sent by a PLC through serial communication in a switch or control cabinet.
EA 13953 receives data via RS232 communication at 9600 baud and presents it on a 7-segment LED display with up to four characters. This makes an important code visible directly on the DIN rail without connecting an additional computer or opening the PLC programming environment.
The module operates from 7–42 V DC, consumes less than 100 mA and includes reverse-polarity protection. It also remembers the last displayed character after a power loss, allowing the last information to remain available when power returns.
