ORNO OR-AE-13114(GS) Plug-in Dimmer with Schuko Socket, 40–280 W
A practical plug-in dimmer for adjusting the brightness of suitable lamps without altering the electrical installation – simply plug it into a Schuko outlet and set the light level with the rotary knob.
The ORNO OR-AE-13114(GS) is a 230 V / 50 Hz power controller with an integrated Schuko socket. It provides smooth brightness adjustment from full power to complete switch-off and is suited to compatible table lamps, floor lamps and other lighting.
With a rated load range of 40–280 W, it is a practical choice when you want to tailor the light to the activity, create a more comfortable atmosphere or reduce unnecessary light output at a lower setting.
Before ordering: the connected load must fall within the 40–280 W range. The manufacturer states that this model does not work with LED lighting.
Adjust your lighting without changing the wall installation

- A Schuko plug and use in a dry indoor location.
LED notice: the manufacturer specifies that this model does not work with LED lighting. Do not connect LED bulbs or LED lamps, even if they are marked as dimmable.
Simple rotary control for gradual adjustment
The integrated controller gradually varies the power supplied to the connected compatible load. This gives you more control over the light than a conventional on/off switch.
For reliable operation, use the dimmer within its specified load range. When checking suitability, consider the combined actual wattage of all connected light sources.
Use in three simple steps
- Check that the connected lamp is suitable for dimming and has a load between 40 W and 280 W.
- Plug the dimmer directly into an indoor 230 V / 50 Hz Schuko outlet.
- Connect the lamp to the dimmer’s Schuko socket and set the desired brightness with the rotary knob.
The product is intended for dry indoor locations only, with an IP20 protection rating.

- Check the rated wattage of every connected light source before connection.
- Use the dimmer only with an undamaged indoor Schuko outlet.
- Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning or moving it.
Do not exceed the 280 W maximum load and do not use with LED lighting. An unsuitable load may cause incorrect operation or damage to connected equipment.
