How Does the 3-Arm Side Brush Work?
The main cleaning components of a robot vacuum work primarily underneath the robot. The side brush is mounted near the edge and rotates while the robot moves.
Its three flexible arms sweep dust, crumbs, hair and other small debris from areas along walls and furniture towards the centre of the robot vacuum.
If the arms become heavily bent, shortened or damaged, their reach may be reduced. In this case, replacing the side brush is recommended.

Simple Replacement of a Worn Side Brush
Replacing the side brush is a straightforward maintenance procedure on compatible models.
- switch off the robot vacuum,
- turn the robot upside down,
- loosen the retaining screw of the existing side brush,
- remove the worn brush,
- install the new 3-arm brush,
- reinstall and moderately tighten the retaining screw.
Switch the robot off before replacement. Use a suitable screwdriver and do not overtighten the retaining screw.
Regular Maintenance for Proper Operation
Hair, pet hair, thread and other fibres may accumulate around the drive shaft and underneath the side brush over time.
Periodically remove the brush and clean the area around its mounting point.
Replace the brush when its arms are visibly worn, damaged or permanently deformed to the point that they no longer reach correctly beyond the edge of the robot vacuum.
