Quick and Easy Replacement
The side brush is a consumable part and can be replaced on most compatible Roomba models in just a few simple steps.
- switch off the robot vacuum,
- turn it upside down,
- use a suitable screwdriver to loosen the side-brush retaining screw,
- remove the old brush,
- install the new brush,
- secure the retaining screw correctly.
Switch the robot off before replacement. Do not overtighten the screw. The replacement procedure may vary slightly depending on the exact model. Screwdriver is not included.
Regular Cleaning Helps Extend Brush Life
Hair, pet hair, threads and other fibres may collect around the side brush and its mounting point during use.
Periodically remove the brush and clean its underside as well as the area around the drive shaft.
Replace the brush when its arms are heavily worn, damaged or permanently deformed and no longer reach the area around the edge of the robot correctly.
