Infraboost IB1 – Additional Wireless Receiver for Room Thermostat
Add another IR heating panel to your Infraboost IB1 system – without additional control wiring or complicated installation.
The additional Infraboost IB1 receiver allows you to expand your existing wireless heating system. Simply plug the receiver into a wall socket, connect an IR heating panel and pair it with the IB1 wireless room thermostat.
One IB1 thermostat can control up to 20 compatible receivers, allowing several IR panels or other compatible electric heaters to be controlled from the same room thermostat.

How does the additional IB1 receiver work?
The receiver acts as a wirelessly controlled switching unit between the IB1 thermostat and the connected IR heating panel.
- 1. Plug the receiver into a standard electrical socket.
- 2. Connect the IR panel or compatible electric heater to the receiver's built-in socket.
- 3. Pair the receiver wirelessly with the IB1 thermostat.
When the thermostat detects a demand for heating, it sends a wireless command to the paired receiver. The receiver then switches the connected IR panel on. Once the desired room temperature is reached, the thermostat sends the command to switch it off again.
When several receivers are paired with the same thermostat, multiple connected heating panels can be controlled from one thermostat.
Ideal for rooms with multiple IR heating panels
Larger rooms often require two or more IR panels. Instead of using a separate thermostat for each panel, the Infraboost IB1 system can be expanded with additional receivers.
Connect one IR panel to each receiver and pair the receivers with the same IB1 room thermostat. The thermostat can then control several heating devices based on the measured room temperature.
This makes it a practical solution for living rooms, larger offices, apartments, workshops, commercial spaces and other areas where several heating panels are required.
