Infraboost IB6 – WiFi Wireless Room Thermostat with Tuya App
No control cable between the thermostat and the heating system – and you can also control the temperature remotely from your phone.
Infraboost IB6 combines the advantages of a wireless room thermostat, WiFi control and weekly programming in one practical system. The room unit can be positioned where you actually want the temperature to be measured, while the switching unit is installed next to the heating appliance.
No additional signal cable is required between the two units, as they communicate wirelessly via a 433 MHz radio connection. With the Tuya app, you can check and adjust the temperature even when you are away from home.
The IB6 is suitable for central heating, IR heating panels, gas boilers, pumps and other compatible heating systems.

Two units – wireless connection between the room and the heating system
The Infraboost IB6 system consists of a room LCD unit and a switching relay unit.
- Room LCD unit – measures the temperature where it is placed, displays all settings and allows local control. It can be powered by batteries or via USB power.
- Switching unit – installed next to the boiler, IR panel or other heating appliance. It is powered by 230 V and switches the heating on and off through the relay output.
- The WiFi module is located inside the switching unit, so a sufficiently strong WiFi signal must be available at the installation point.
- The room and switching units communicate via a 433 MHz wireless radio connection.
- Through the Tuya app, you can set temperatures, programmes and monitor the system remotely.
This design is especially practical in renovations and existing buildings, because no additional control cable needs to be installed between the room thermostat and the heating appliance.

In the morning you may want a comfortably warm room, a lower temperature while you are at work and more warmth again in the evening. The Infraboost IB6 can automate this daily rhythm.
You can set up to 6 temperature periods per day and choose between 5+2 day, 6+1 day or full 7-day weekly programming.
This means your heating no longer depends on constant manual adjustment, while unnecessary operation can be reduced when the room is not in use.
Easier installation without an additional signal cable
- Install the switching unit next to the boiler, IR panel, manifold or other compatible heating appliance.
- At the switching-unit location, both 230 V power and a suitable WiFi signal must be available.
- The room LCD unit can be mounted on the wall or placed freely on a suitable flat surface in the room.
- Because the two units communicate wirelessly, no additional control cable is required between them.
- Connect the thermostat to the Tuya app and set your preferred temperatures and weekly schedules.
For connection to a gas boiler, central heating system or more complex installation, we recommend having the connection checked by a qualified electrician or heating installer.
